Cancer Screening Coordinator - Qatar - Permanent - Up to £35,000 pa. TAX FREE - Plus Fantastic Relocation & Benefits Package
Our client is a prestigious well established Health Care Provider in Qatar, who are currently looking for a Cancer Screening Coordinator to establish and maintain their cancer screening programme.
Responsibilities for this position include:
l Manage the pathway for cancer screening programmes (breast and colorectal)
l Mange the symptomatic patient pathway for breast and colorectal cancer ensuring all units work together for the best possible patient care and outcomes.
l Be the main point of contact for the cancer screening programmes
l Liaise with external Healthcare councils about all aspects of the cancer screening programme
l Assist in setting up SLAs relating to cancer screening programmes
l Work across all departments and hospitals associated with cancer screening (Surgery, Pathology, Radiology, Endoscopy, Gastroenterology) to ensure the patient is seen, diagnosed and treated in a timely manner and has the best possible patient experience
l Promote the concept of integrated working across departments to support the patient and the best possible public health outcomes
l Establish and maintain database for tracking patients in the system, ensuring alerts are in place to avoid delays in the pathway
l Monitor, analyse and report on key performance indicators within the pathway such as delays in appointment times, diagnostic waits, times to treatment etc
l Ensure all quality standards associated with the cancer screening programmes re met, being aware of new and emerging standards at all times and alerting clinicians to these and their implications
l Utilise evidence based medicine to develop and improve the screening programmes
To be considered you must hold a Bachelors degree in Business, Management or Healthcare Administration. In addition to this you must have extensive experience in of senior operational management in Healthcare or a complex business environment.
A clinical practice understanding and a process and project experience would be beneficial.
