More exciting research Nurse Jobs in Central London with Hays!
Phase 1 clinical research studies/trials
An interesting and exciting career move for RGN nurses
Hays Healthcare have a an urgent requirement for their client, the foremost and largest clinical research organisation in the World.
We have six positions available beginning in December, in clinical trials that are ongoing into Spring 2014 and potentially beyond.
Our client would like to engage with RGN nurses that would be keen in working in a busy, fast paced and vibrant atmosphere participating in delivering phase 1 clinical research studies. The work is very exacting and requires nurses that have specific training and skills. Experienced Band 5 RGN nurses with some research experience and trained in good clinical practice are preferred. However, without this, nurses that have specific skills and experience in ECG function and monitoring, bloods via cannulation and venepuncture, immediate life support training, vital signs training and experience, blood pressure monitoring etc are mandatory.
Nurses are required on a temporary basis with a rotating weekly shift pattern . There are a variety of shifts to the pattern, including earlies, lates and night shifts, each week. The nurses will be welcomed into an existing team of other nurses and support staff, so good team players are a must.
Working in this very busy clinical trial unit in Guy's and St Thomas' hospital, close to London Bridge station, the RGN's need to demonstrate good people and communication skills, be used to to using multiple monitoring and recording apparatus on multiple patients and need to have a good 'can-do' work ethic. An initial induction and training course will be delivered to the nurse in the first week.
This is an exciting opportunity to get involved in research, but the chance is only open to high calibre nurses that have the skills detailed above.
If you meet the criteria and are excited in knowing more about this challenge, and, can be available for these dates, please submit your updated current CV to the Hays expert dealing with these vacancies.
