We are looking for a dynamic individual to help set up and then manage Sussex Housing & Care’s first Extra Care scheme, located in the picturesque coastal town of Seaford, East Sussex. Due for completion in May 2014, the development comprises 35 one and two bedroom apartments offering high quality accommodation for sale and affordable rent.

This key role, which will start in early 2014 will involve the organisation and management of the day to day operations of the scheme, ensuring consistently high customer service and high occupancy levels. The successful candidate will have significant experience and skills in the provision of care services for older people. They will have a minimum of two years experience managing a staff team, experience of managing budgets and a proven track record for delivering exemplary customer service. The role requires the candidate to have a relevant professional qualification (e.g. NVQ 4 in Care Management) and the necessary skills and experience to assess needs and implement care/support plans.
