As a Level 1 Registered Nurse with a valid NMC PIN Number, you will have experience in your field and be a caring and compassionate professional.
About the Role
You will work as part of the multi disciplinary team to deliver a high standard of care to patients undergoing medical treatment. You will be responsible for the assessment of patients care needs and for the development, implementation and evaluation of programmes of care.
You will ensure high standards of care for patients and their families by:
- Delivery and management of direct nursing care
- Working with agreed nursing standards and according to Nursing and Midwifery Council Code for nurses
- Being accountable for nursing outcomes
- Enhancing the quality of care by assisting with the management of change in nursing practice based on evidence/research.
About the Department
The Outpatient Department consists of 21 Consulting Rooms and additional areas for Phlebotomy, Tissue Viability, Plaster casting and a Minor Procedure Suite on the ground floor of the main hospital. In addition there are 7 GP rooms a Women’s Health Centre and a number of other clinics in our buildings in Pennant Mews. We have over 160 Consultants from all specialities conducting regular clinics.
