We are currently looking for Registered Nurses to join our dynamic nursing team here at Lancashire Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. We are looking for team players who enjoy working in a modern, hi-tech and very friendly environment.

At Lancashire Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust we believe in providing excellent care with compassion and believe that creating a positive working environment, where staff feel valued, supported and empowered, will enable us to achieve this for every patient, every time.

Every member of staff, whatever their role, is a vital part of our team. We provide a range of training,  development and award-winning leadership opportunities, tailored to your individual needs, to enable you to reach your full potential. As a teaching hospital and research centre, we encourage innovation and continuous improvement, providing staff with a constant opportunity to learn new ways of working and enhance skills and knowledge.

We are looking to appoint staff nurses who will share our vision to provide excellent care with compassion. You will be motivated and dynamic individuals with some acute nursing experience and with enthusiasm for meeting the challenges of nursing patients in busy acute wards.

A recent workforce review has resulted in new  investments to increase staffing levels on some of our acute medical, surgical, orthopaedic and oncology wards.

To support recruitment to these posts we are holding an interview and recruitment day on Saturday 23rd March 2013 at The Education Centre, Chorley & District General Hospital.

Your induction to the Trust and ongoing professional and personal development will be tailored to your needs and supported by our dynamic team of clinical educators and our friendly and innovative training and
development team. We also have excellent links with our nursing faculty colleagues at our local universities.

We welcome applications from those who have not had acute experience in the last two years as depending upon your previous experience we will be able to support you back into the acute environment.
Interviews and Assessments will take place at The Education Centre, Chorley & District General Hospital. To book an interview/assessment please ring Debbie Turner on 01257 245479.

Visit www.jobs.nhs.uk to apply on line, view job  descriptions and other employment opportunities.
Lancashire Teaching Hospitals is committed to equality of opportunity and welcomes applications from all sections of the community.

An interview is guaranteed to any applicant with a disability who meets the essential criteria of the person specification. The Trust has excellent childcare facilities, including modern on-site nurseries and
holiday playschemes.
