Recovery Theatre Nurse

Location: Midlands
Position: Registered Nurse (RN)

We are currently seeking enthusiastic and reliable qualified theatre nurses within the West Midlands, due to new and exciting contracts with private and NHS hospitals within the region. Our midlands clients comprise of some of the largest in the UK, along with prestigious specialist hospitals, and university trusts. Many are currently seeking ad hoc and temporary general theatre and recovery.

One particular vacancy calls for radiology experience, within a highly skilled environment, for 2-3 days per week depending on the needs.

The ideal candidate will be experienced with the following:
-working within a team
-caring for patient before during and/or after surgery
-assist with the smooth running of procedures
-taking patients from theatre to recovery
-Monitoring patients recovery post surgery
-Checking for any complications
-Administering treatment as necessary
-Providing pain relief
-Assessing and evaluating readiness to return to ward

Anyone applying for the above should hold great communication skills, have a genuine desire to help and care for others and be trustworthy and reliable.

You would also need the following:
-NMC registration
-EPP clearance
-Good English, written and spoken
-Right to work in the UK
-Health & Safety, and Manual handling certificates
