Clinical Services Managers (SM2) circa £45,000

We are looking for the successful candidates to deliver effective operational leadership within defined areas of responsibility,
contributing to the strategic leadership and direction St Andrews, Essex Pound lane, North Benfleet is a low secure environment
caring for and rehabilitating patients who experience life difficulties as a result of their illness you will develop an effective business
culture that supports the delivery of quality services and support the Hospital Directors and Head of Clinical Services by taking a
lead role in the implementation and monitoring of the specific Service’s Strategic and Business Plans. You will also line manage
Ward Managers and may line manage Therapies, Social Work and Education teams and will support the Hospital Directors/Head of
Clinical Services by taking a lead role in the implementation and monitoring of the Service’s Healthcare Governance Strategy.
Required skills and Responsibilities:
Proven ability to plan strategically and analyse / interpret complex information.
Significant experience of secure mental health/disability experience.
Ability to effectively lead and direct multi-disciplinary teams.
Experienced in the management of staffing establishments and related cost controls.
Knowledge and understanding of healthcare governance frameworks.
An awareness of current legislation and healthcare governance regulations effecting mental health services.
Comprehensive knowledge of risk factors concerned with mental health services.
Responsiveness to changing organisational needs.
Registered with relevant Professional body.
Educated to Degree level or equivalent.
‘A’ Level in Maths and English will be considered provided additional requirements are met.
Evidence of Management Development/Leadership training (or a willingness to undertake career development
Management training with St Andrew’s Healthcare.
