Salary: £30,000 - £40000 pro rata
Hours: 37.5 hours - permanent
My client offres an Occupational Health Services and provides specialist advice and support regarding employee health issues to employees and managers as well as to a variety of external clients. The OH service provision has been recently reviewed and is currently undergoing a restructure to ensure that it is adding maximum value and benefit to its customers.
The OHS is a multidisciplinary team comprising of OH Managers, OH Advisers, Clinic Nurses, Psychological Support Therapists and OH Physiotherapists. Working with the administration team our main priority is to create a dynamic approach to maximise employee health, wellbeing and productivity.
We are looking to recruit two qualified and experienced OH Managers to join the team on a full time basis. You must be a fully qualified Registered General Nurse (RGN) and hold an NMC statement of entry for Specialist Community Public Health Nursing and Specialist Practitioner status in Occupational Health, along with a higher management qualification or equivalent demonstrable management experience and significant experience in a senior role in a large diverse organisation. NHS Occupational Health experience is desirable. You will have significant experience of carrying out Case Management and have experience of OH policy development.
Taking a business partnership approach, you will work alongside other OH colleagues to provide proactive OH services to a specific Directorate as well as supporting external contracts. You will provide effective day-to-day operational management and professional advice across the service, ensuring the highest standard of clinical care. You will support the service by assisting with coaching, mentoring, appraisal and clinical supervision of OH nursing staff, whilst ensuring your own professional development via annual appraisal.
We are looking for a dynamic, enthusiastic and motivated individual, who has a passion to drive forward the success of the Occupational Health Service. You must be IT literate and able to learn systems and processes.
