Do you have an interest in integrated working and have you got the clinical knowledge to support health and social care professionals within a community setting?

If so, Hampshire County Council could be the ideal place for you. The largest county in south east England, we have the size and scale to offer outstanding career opportunities. As Clinical Team Leader within the Hampshire Integrated Community Equipment Services (HICES), you will have every opportunity to make this role your own and take the first step towards a senior strategic position.

HICES is a critical service, supplying a range of equipment for the nurses, occupational therapists and care professionals to provide first-class health and social care to the people of Hampshire. As Clinical Team Leader, you will be the crucial link between our health professionals and service, ensuring that the right people get the right equipment, whenever and wherever they need it. Thanks to your clinical background, you’ll understand the needs of our health care staff to provide efficient and effective services as well as the equipment itself. This means you’ll be able to make recommendations, may suggest the most cost-effective solutions and deal with suppliers, all while leading a 15-strong HICES team.

You may have worked in Nursing or Occupational Therapy. Whatever your background, you’ll be a clinical professional who understands care in the community. As well as being able to demonstrate good clinical-based practise; knowledge of healthcare equipment; and a firm grasp of relevant legislation, you’ll also be a strategic thinker with commercial awareness – able to plan and develop services so they’re effective and economical. What’s more, you’ll have appropriate professional and management qualifications (or equivalent experience).  Crucially, you’ll be articulate, analytical and good with people. This means you can negotiate, build partnerships and deal with a wide range of contacts.
