Thornbury Community Services have exciting opportunities in the Isle of Wight requiring a team of skilled Healthcare Assistants to work with a child with complex medical needs. Working on a permanent basis we have part & full time positions available.
Working for Thornbury Community Services can provide you with flexibility and continuity on a long term basis enabling you to choose the hours you work. Allocated to one package of care for 11 year old girl with specialist complex care needs you can increase your monthly shifts as desired choosing to work days or nights. By working within this client’s home you can provide a consistency of care enriching a young person’s life whilst building a professional and enjoyable working relationship and be rewarded with industry leading pay rates as well as other employment benefits.
Applicants must have previous hands on care experience (a minimum of 6 months within the last 3 years) ideally within a complex care setting although applicants from residential/hospice setting will also be considered as client specific training is provided.
You must be able to provide a clinical reference from a Band 6 nurse or above and will be subject to a DBS disclosure.
