Linc Care is the Health and Social care division of Linc Cymru, a not for profit organisation providing care and support needs of primarily older people in South Wales.  Our community nursing homes are modern and well-designed buildings; our nursing staff deliver high quality care that meets the complex needs of the people who use our services and their families.

We are expanding our care services and are seeking to appoint an inspirational and ‘outcome focussed’ leader. As Head of Clinical Services, you will be responsible for the effective strategic and operational management of 24 hour clinical services, ensuring the delivery of high quality care.

You will successfully manage and develop our registered services and use your leadership to drive a culture of innovation, change and service improvement.  You will play a lead role in shaping service and organisational strategy. As a key member of the senior management team, you will work closely with the Executive Director, developing and managing services and monitoring their delivery. You will have professional responsibility for the nursing workforce and also for identifying opportunities in clinical innovation covering performance, governance, nurse education and financial management.

As a qualified RGN/RMN with advanced nursing and clinical decision making skills, you will ensure we continue to offer the highest standards in person-centred and clinical care in a secure, relaxed and homely environment. You will have a proven track record with significant operational experience in the acute healthcare sector as well as knowledge of CSSIW regulations, NHS initiatives in Wales and national issues relating to Nursing. Candidates should have demonstrable leadership skills, be able to play a pivotal role in meeting demanding performance standards and manage the budgetary implications of activity.

You will also stand in for the Executive Director when required. This means you need to be a confident and persuasive communicator, with the ability to liaise with a wide range of people, often dealing with sensitive or difficult situations.
