An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced academic and/ or practitioner with significant knowledge, skills and experience of Health Visiting to join a team of academics in this field of practice .
The focus of this role is for the one year specialist community public health programme (SCPHN), which is running twice a year in response to the DH call for action for Health Visiting. You will be working in close collaboration with practice colleagues in the support of the national and local workforce development for Health Visiting. This role also includes clinical linking with local and regional Trusts to support students, mentors and practice teachers at both pre and post registration level.
You will be responsible for leading the development and delivery of specific specialist modules and teaching and learning in this field of practice, as well as contributing to other modules as necessary
You will be a graduate with current NMC registration (part 3), with evidence of ongoing personal and professional development and an appropriate programme of study in Health Visiting.
