The treatment centre was purpose built in 2005 the facility provides NHS treatment to all attending NHS patients. Featuring state of the art theatres, we are looking to employ an Operating Department Practitioner to join our multidisciplinary team.

Key Responsibilities
The purpose of the job is to manage the day-to-day activities within the theatre area. The Operating Department Practitioner leads the team of nursing and ancillary staff and provides the necessary professional, clinical practice and motivational support for the team and peers.
Skills & Experience The successful candidate will: • Supervise and monitor the system for patient focussed care which includes; assessment, planning, delivery and evaluation of care in line with Care UK’s model of care. This requires the position to carry a clinical workload on a planned basis. • Through a system of workload and activity scoring, ensure that the necessary resources are available to care for patient workload on a day to day basis. • Have a specialist qualification in Theatre Practice or demonstrable understanding of the area. • Have the ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
Qualifications RN (Level 1), BSc / Diploma or other relevant Post Graduate Qualification / ODP qualification or a Portfolio demonstrating relevant experience.
