Scrub Practitioner - Ilford - Full Time - Permanent - £26,000 - £27,500
Our client, a treatment centre providing healthcare to NHS patients, are looking for a Scrub Nurse to join their team.
This role will involve scrubbing for mainly day case and minor procedures including gynae, urology and minor orthopaedics.
Your duties and responsibilities will include;
- Scrubbing for a variety of procedures
- Ensuring the theatres and the equipment are clean and ready for the list
- Ensuring correct procedures are followed for ordering, receiving and transferring blood and blood products as well as blood conservation.
- Assisting with the smooth running of the theatres
The successful candidate will be an Operating Department Practitioner (ODP) or Registered General Nurse (RGN) with a valid NMC or HPC PIN number and experience working in scrub. You will have excellent communication and listening skills and a keen eye for detail.
The salary for this position is £26,000 - £27,500 and benefits include 25 days holiday, healthcare and contributory pension scheme. This position is available full time and they are unable to offer sponsorship at this time.
This role is based in North East London and is commutable on the Central Line. Local towns include Chigwell, Woodford Green, Ilford, Barking, Romford, Dagenham and Upminster.
