
Quality Assurance Manager - Mental Health & Learning Disabilities
Bright Selection Ltd is delighted to represent a national provider of specialist mental health and learning disabilities services in their recruitment of a Quality Assurance Manager to cover the North of England and East Midlands. With an overwhelming commitment to continually drive quality improvements across their group they are seeking an exceptional candidate to advise, support and influence clinical governance at local and corporate level.
As QA Manager you will work closely with local services advising on the management of quality and best practice and supporting units by attending and participating in clinical governance meetings. You will be required to develop systems for audit, monitoring and evaluation of systems and procedures at local level and will be actively involved in carrying this out. A large majority of your time will be spent visiting services, providing support and monitoring compliance with corporate clinical standards. You will also act as a professional lead responsible for Safeguarding. Suitable candidates will be / have:
- RMN qualified with managerial experience in healthcare
- In depth knowledge of the Mental Health Act 1983
- Experience in developing audit tools
- Excellent literacy and numeracy skills, including IT
- Strong interpersonal, communication and negotiating skills with confident presentation skills
- Understanding and experience in implementing safeguarding protocols
- Understanding of the regulatory framework
This is a permanent position offering a salary in the region of £45,000 per annum + generous bonus and excellent benefits package. You must drive and have your own transport and be flexible to travel extensively across the country.
