PULSE is working in partnership with the world’s leading international healthcare, medical assistance and security services company. They assist other organisations in managing the health and security risks that face their employees, international travellers and expatriates.

The company is Physician led and they take on around 350 – 500 cases per day, so there is never a dull moment! The Registered Nurse is part of the medical team and they are the first point of contact for any caller and they will be responsible for the triage, diagnosis and provision of medical advice and/or any further recommendations. As the work is telephone based it is imperative to be able to demonstrate excellent communication skills and adopt a strong customer service approach.

The main responsibilities of the role would include:

·          Triage and Assessment of the call and responding appropriately

·          Providing medical advice and making appropriate referrals where necessary

·          Ongoing monitoring of patient care

·          Liaising with medical professionals all around the world

·          Setting up and assisting with evacuations and repatriations

·          Responding to international disasters

This is an excellent opportunity for a Registered Nurse who wants to move away from a hands on clinical role whilst still utilising their medical knowledge, experience and skills.

So if you are from an acute clinical area such as A&E, ICU, HDU, Medical Assessment, we would love to hear from you. We are also interested in hearing from those applicants who perhaps have had the opportunity to work overseas, on cruise ships and/or been involved with tropical medicine.

The successful candidate will be able to maintain their clinical hours and skills as part of their role as the company is partnered with a local NHS trust. You will also receive excellent in-flight based ILS training at the headquarters of some of the world’s leading airlines, in addition to further in-house and external training opportunities.

So if you are interested and you would like to find out more about this truly unique career opportunity please do not hesitate to contact Jo today – 020 7959 1019 or jo.berry@pulsejobs.com
