Your role will involve nursing care, practice audit, clinical supervision and staff development, so as well as being RN Adult qualified, you will also have the skills and understanding to help people make the most of their abilities. A strong clinical background combined with good leadership skills is a must.

To provide leadership to groups of Care Team Staff and to undertake responsibility
for leadership in one or more areas of care functions, whilst maintaining a “hands on”
contribution as a member of the Care Team. To liaise fully with other Clinical
Managers and Director of Care, but in their absence, take responsibility for the
effective organisation and delivery of care across all services.
Key Responsibilities
1. To provide clinical leadership to members of the Care Team, which includes
clinical supervision, practice audit, development and training.
2. To provide clinical expertise advice and guidance to all members of the care
Team and Director of Care as required.
3. To support the effective and efficient running of the hospice.
Key tasks
Clinical
To assist in the day to day running of the service, in particular the clinical and care
elements.
To provide evidence based advice and guidance to all members of the Care Team.
To act as a resource to staff regarding aspects of clinical practice and care.
Salary up to £36,000 plus enhancements.
Car owner preferred as we are in a remote location
