Position: Theatre Manager
Salary: Circa £40,000, depending on experience, plus company benefits
Location: Shropshire
Hours: Full time, permanent

The hospital is a 34 en-suite bedded hospital, their service provision is varied, covering everything from outpatients and minor procedures through to major surgical specialties such as orthopaedics, ENT, spinal, gynaecology and general surgery. Situated just outside of the town centre, therefore very close to transport links.
Job Purpose:
As the Theatre Manager, you will be a key player in promoting the agenda of quality and efficiency within the Theatre Department. You will be clinically and operationally responsible for the Theatre teams, and will be expected to actively contribute to service development, identifying opportunities and supporting individuals in the delivery of care.
You will need excellent clinical knowledge, skills and experience to negotiate with and influence others as you support the Head of Clinical Services in the development of theatre services. You will act as a role model, mentor and advisor for your staff.
This role requires you to demonstrate post-registration experience and you should also have experience in a senior clinical / team leader role. Experience of setting and managing staff and non-staff budgets is also essential.
