Medacs Healthcare is looking to recruit an experienced midwife to work in a band 6 post for an NHS Trust in Essex.
Our client has a purpose built state of the art unit and provides both midwifery, consultant led and tertiary services.
With over 5000 deliveries per year, the unit requires experienced midwives to work on rotational basis.
A birthing midwife led unit is also situated at the hospital caring for women with uncomplicated pregnancies and labours as well as labour, antenatal and postnatal wards.
We are looking for midwives with the following experience:
· Antenatal clinics
· Antenatal ward- providing care to high risk women
· Labour ward
· Postnatal ward
Midwives need to be competent have the ability to work in a pressurised environment and manage emergency situations. You will also have knowledge of midwifery guidelines and the NMC code of conduct.
