Senior Theatre Practitioner (Scrub)
Based at BMI Sefton, Liverpool
BMI Healthcare's Sefton Hospital has 19 beds with all rooms offering the privacy and comfort of en-suite facilities, satellite TV, telephone and access to a spacious day room.
The hospital has a theatre, access to intensive care units, physiotherapy facilities and specialist nurses. BMI Sefton Hospital provides a full range of surgical and medical specialities. These are supported by the excellent facilities of the Kenilworth Road Diagnostic Centre which provides consulting rooms, physiotherapy, X-ray and treatment units.
BMI Sefton has an excellent opportunity for a Senior Theatre Practitioner to join their team to work 37.5 hours per week. The role will be in Scrub. Your main duties will include:
· To support, coordinate and actively assist in the management and organisation of care provision within the Operating Department while managing a delegated team.
· Provide quality planned care for patients during their perioperative phase of care by ensuring all team members deliver quality patient care by providing appropriate clinical and managerial leadership.
You will be required to be a Registered Practitioner with NMC or HPC registration, have evidence of completing an approved/recognised anaesthetic course and have excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Please see the attached role profile for further details and requirements of the role.
