Grade D/E - ENT/General Surgical Nurse - Central London

My client is the UK`s largest independently owned non-profit hospital. They undertake highly complex procedures in addition to routine surgery and medicine.

Consisting of over 250 patients beds and 12 operating theatres including dedicated endoscopy suites, a day surgery unit and a 24 hour consultant-led Intensive Care Unit.

The ENT/Surgical unit is looking for a Band 6 equivalent nurse who has experience within this specialty. The successful candidate must be able to cannulate and take bloods and well as perform ECG`s and cope with a busy fast paced floor. You must also have a mentorship in practice course.

The team is cohesive and sociable with a genuine interest in providing a high standard of patient care within a relaxed and friendly environment. All applicants must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills and show a commitment to research based practice. Internal rotation is in operation.

Continuing professional and personal development is supported by an in-house Nursing Research & Development Department, and by Management and IT training opportunities. Specialist clinical education and training is also well supported.
