Hospital Recruitment International (HRI Ltd) are currently recruiting for a Band 7 Recovery ITU Team Lead/Manager, for a Central London Hospital. The HDU and Recovery areas are incorporated within the Theatre department and we are seeking to appoint an expert Clinical Lead , meeting the rigorous standards set by the Care Quality Commission.
Your main role and responsibility will be to:
- To provide specialist critical care nursing advice within the Units and other clinical areas within the Hospital.
- Manage the service, planning staff duty rotas and allocating staff with regard to skill mix and staff/patient ratio requirements to ensure safety and efficiency.
- Undertake staff appraisals, counselling, disciplinary or other interviews on the Unit.
- Assisting in the planning and developing the unit to a level 3 facility when approved.
You must have NMC Registration, be eligible to work in the UK and have current and substantial experience in the ITU level 3 environment.
