Staff Nurse Imaging - London - Full Time - Permanent - £28,800 - £32,600
Centrally located, this prestigious hospital for women and children, are looking for a Staff Nurse in their Imaging Department.
This role will involve working alongside the multi-disciplinary team as the sole nurse in this small department; ensuring patients are safe and cared for throughout non-invasive and invasive diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
Your duties and responsibilities will include;
- Assisting the Radiologist; scrubbing for a variety of procedures including biopseys, catheter procedures, angiographys and urodynamics.
- Ordering stock
- Assisting with the smooth running of the Radiology Department
- Maintaining Aseptic technique
- Recovering patients from sedation or analgesia
- Dealing with telephone enquiries
The successful candidate will be a Registered General Nurse (RGN) with a valid NMC PIN number and experience working in Radiology or as a Scrub Nurse in theatres or within endoscopy. You must have excellent communication skills and be a team player.
The salary for this position is £28,800 - £32,600 and benefits include 25 days holiday, healthcare and contributory pension scheme. This position is available full time or part time
This role is based in London and is easily commutable from most major central London train stations on most tube lines.
