Fabulous opportunity for enthusiastic, dedicated and highly-skilled Nurses to join a market-leading Private Healthcare organisation operating within the homecare sector within the Complex Care team based in East London & North East London.
Our client currently has an urgent requirement for Band 6 Nurses either RGN or RSCN’s with a strong acute/critical care background in ITU/HDU. Operating within the community and within a pre-defined regional territory working across London, post-holders will work autonomously and provide flexible nursing and support to patients in their own homes after being discharged from hospital.
These are nursing roles with a difference, in that they offer genuine opportunities for nurses to care for and attend to the needs of their patients, developing relationships built on reliance and trust. The ideal candidate with lead and manage a team and or care for a group of patients, providing training, advice, support and coaching to ensure the delivery of high quality, cost effective care to patients. Nurses will be included within the On Call out of hour’s rota responsible for managing all nursing queries and problems within the region.
Applicants should be friendly, communicative and self-motivated team-players with a keen interest in community-based nursing. Candidate should be competent to deal with emergency procedures and the ability to care for patients on ventilators and with tracheostomies.
Previous infusion/IV therapies experience and cannulation skills are essential, as is the ability to manage time effectively whilst working remotely. A minimum of 12 months post qualification experience is required for this role.
Candidates must also possess a full driving licence.
