Speciality Doctor (Psychiatry) - Substance Misuse - North West - 65k to 70k
The post holder will have responsibility to work with a Multi-disciplinary team to provide the clinical care for a broad range of substance misusing clients, in partnership with Engagement and Recovery Teams.
Rise provides a comprehensive range of recovery-focused interventions including Needle Exchange, early engagement and brief interventions, access to medically-assisted recovery, structured psychosocial interventions, structured day programme activities, community detoxification, and Recovery oriented substitution therapy.
The successful candidate will be expected to have a recovery-focussed approach to treatment. Main responsibilities will include community-based clinics. Access to appraisal, revalidation support, and a regular programme of CPD will be made available.
Applicants for this post should have relevant experience in substance misuse medicine. Membership of the Royal College of Psychiatrists is preferred.
