Position – ODP/Nurse – Recovery and/or Anaesthetics

My client is one of Essex's leading private hospitals with an excellent reputation for delivering high quality private hospital treatments and services. Located on the outskirts of Colchester, the hospital opened on this site in 1994 and currently has 57 bedrooms including three twin-bedded rooms all with en-suite facilities to ensure complete privacy throughout a patient stay.
By investing in the latest advanced medical technology, the hospital offers a wide range of treatments and services. It has a suite of four operating theatres, three of which are fully equipped with laminar flow ventilation, and a minor ops room provides a safe and effective service for patients requiring surgical and minimally invasive procedures on a day care basis.
An 11-bay Ambulatory Care Unit is now in service and is fully equipped to cater for patients undergoing short surgical procedures where a bedroom or overnight stay is not required. This facility ensures patients spend a reduced amount of time at the hospital, where clinically appropriate, and can return to their normal activities as soon as possible.
Healthcare Treatments
Treatments at the hospital include breast surgery, colorectal surgery, ENT, gastroenterology, general surgery (including hernia surgery), gynaecology (including endometriosis), ophthalmology (including cataract surgery), laparoscopic surgery, orthopaedic surgery (including hip and knee replacements), pain management, spinal surgery and vascular surgery.
Competitively priced cosmetic surgery is available for a wide range of procedures including breast enlargement, reduction, uplift, tummy tuck, liposuction, eye lid surgery, facelift and nose surgery by our consultant led service.
As part of the companies Eastern Region, the Hospital has access to local services that are provided by our sister hospitals which include specialist cardiothoracic services and weight management services.
Position
An opportunity has become available for experienced ODPs / Anaesthetic Nurses.
The Hospital has four operating theatres with a separate recovery area working within a wide range of specialities. They require enthusiastic, flexible ODP / Recovery & Anaesthetic Nurses to work with us in growing our services.
Relevant experience preferable.
In addition to your strong clinical skills, you will have the ability:
· To plan equipment and consumable requirements
· To provide a high standard of individualised patient care as part of the clinical team
· To provide prove of post registration experience
