A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Paediatric Bone Marrow Transplant (PBMT) Senior Sister to work within a prestigious private hospital in Central London.
One of the most prestigious and respected private hospitals in London and equipped with the most advanced medical equipment, this hospital is the perfect opportunity for a PBMT Senior Sister looking for an exciting challenge and career development.
General Responsibilities include:
• Responsible for clinical and operational leadership of the PBMT department
• Management of stem cell administration and recovery
• Involved in setting up a new service with the support of the Clinical Services Manager
• Provide clinical management and leadership in the absence of the ward manager
• Supervise and direct junior staff
• Liaise with consultants and other departments effectively
• Prioritise workloads and allocate patients appropriately
• Assess, plan and deliver high quality nursing care
• Demonstrate excellent clinical practice
Requirements:
• NMC registered (RSCN/RCN)
• Experience at a Sister level in PBMT
• Assessing and Mentoring qualification
• Relevant courses in Oncology/Haematology
• Chemotherapy Course
• PILS
