Deputy Theatre Manager, East London, £38,000 - £45,000
HCL Permanent is working in conjunction with London's largest private hospital group to recruit an experienced Deputy Theatre Manager.
Renowned for providing top quality surgery across a range of acute specialities and boasting state of the art integrated Theatres, this hospital provides an exciting challenge for an enthusiastic Deputy Theatre Manager.
General Responsibilities:
• Regularly coordinate and actively assist in the management and organisation of care provision within the Operating Department while assisting the theatre manager in the management of the theatre team
• Provide quality planned care for patients during their perioperative phase of care by ensuring all team members deliver quality patient care by providing appropriate clinical and managerial leadership throughout the department
• Deputise for the theatre manager
• Assemble, check and prepare the appropriate anaesthetic and recovery equipment, drugs and consumables for a wide range of operative procedures incorporating various types of anaesthesia
Requirements:
• Approved/recognised anaesthetic course
• Previous experience as a Senior Registered Practitioner or equivalent
• ENB 998 and/or mentorship course and/or D32/33/A1
• Management qualification
• ILS
• ALS
• External Advanced Scrub Practitioner Qualification
