An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join the Clinical Training Team with my private client based in central London.
My client is an acute independent general hospital that offers a breadth of specialties, services and treatments to patients across the UK and further afield. The Clinic has 251 beds including 7 operating theatres, 2 day case theatres, 11 Critical Care beds, 62 Consulting Suites on Harley Street and an out-patient facility in Devonshire Place.
The role will encompass the organization and delivery of audit and VTE prevention strategies. To work as an advanced practitioner alongside Consultant Haematologists in the delivery of an expert nursing service within the specialist area (VTE risk assessment, thromboprophylaxis).
This is an excellent challenge for the successful candidate to develop the specialist nurse role in the support of patients, their families and other healthcare professionals aimed at prevention of VTE. This post is 14 hours per week
