Community Nurses will be responsible for providing high quality, cost effective clinical care to a caseload of patients across Complex care, therapies, Oncology or any new service line introduced.

 The post requires the candidate to possess the following requirements;

  • Are registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC)
  • Eligibility to work in the UK without work permit or visa restrictions.
  • Have a minimum of 12 months  post registration experience, including experience in community care.
  • Have enhanced Criminal Records Bureau (CRB) clearance
  • UK Driving License
  • Are competent in IV skills – ideally central, implanted and peripheral and phlebotomy and cannulation skills
  •  Your track record will demonstrate that a commitment to enhance the well-being of the service user is paramount to the ethos of the support you provide.
  • Discuss, produce and update individuals care plans with the care team, patient and family
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Commitment to the care and well-being of service users.
  • Dedication to continued professional and personal development.

You will be offered the prospect of working varied shifts, including night and weekend work. However, for the purpose of registration you will be expected to commit to a minimum of 3 shifts per week and be available at times for short notice work.
