A unique opportunity has arisen for an experience Prison Practice Nurse to work for a leading independent provider of health and social care based in Essex.
We are currently recruiting for a full time Prison Practice Nurse to work 37.5 hours a week. The successful applicant will be required to offer a range of services including health information and advice and treatment for a range of minor illnesses and injuries.
General Responsibilities
• function autonomously and within your sphere of competency, whilst being able to support less experienced staff
• Assess Patients
• Carry out relevant tests
• arrange follow-ups and offer advice and information
• demonstrate critical thinking skills in clinical decision making
Requirements
• NMC Registered
• Have post registration qualification in practice nursing or equivalent
• Have evidence of extended skills e.g. smears, diabetes, asthma, wound care etc
• Significant experience as A Practice Nurse
