Our client is a medium sized nursing, residenial and dememtia home that provides care and support for older people. The well established service is situated within the Southall area and benefits from close links with the local community and support groups. They are currently seeking a highly experienced nurse manager to drive the failing service forward and improve the overall standard of the home.
They are recruiting an experienced nurse manager with experience at a registered manager level within the health or social care sector, which includes direct line management, budget responsibilities, a good understanding of person centred care and an ability to support and manage staff teams.
Good communication and administration skills along with the ability to prioritise and cope with a busy and varied workload are essential. Above all you will need to demonstrate empathy towards older people and an understanding of their needs. You will be RN level 1 qualified (ideally RMN/RGN) and RMA qualified with a minimum of two years home management experience.
