My client is looking for an enthusiastic paediatric nurse to work as part of the multi disciplinary team and delivering a high standard of family centred care. They join the team providing a paediatric nursing service in the paediatric outpatients department.
Responsibilities
The post holder will be responsible for the assessment of patient care needs and for the development, implementation and evaluation of programmes of care. They will be responsible for the assessment, triage and care of the child who requires an urgent referral to a Paediatrician.
Designated to take charge regularly of the unit in the absence of the person who has continuing responsibility. To participate in clinical audit and demonstrate research based outcomes of care delivery
Requirements:
* Mentorship certificate.
* IV competent.
* BLS/ILS updated.
* Speciality Course.
* RGN with demonstrable experience as a Staff Nurse in similar ward/environment.
