Nutrition Nurse
Our client specialises in the delivery of advanced medical nutrition for the very young, the old and the sick. As well as being the largest specialist nutrition company in Europe, our client is the market leader in the UK.
They supply high quality feeds, systems and support services to patients and health care professionals. Through their prestigious Homeward service, our client delivers nutritional feeds, enteral feeding systems and nursing care directly to patients’ homes.
They are currently looking for a Nutrition Nurse for the following area:
North west with considerable work around Manchester and East Lancs area
In this role you will be assisting patient’s transition from Secondary care to primary care. You will provide pre-discharge training regarding enteral nutrition and provide follow up support in their home. Training will include enteral nutrition, pumps, feed s and PEG site. As part of the high calibre patient service package you will also provide telephone support and follow-up to patients and their carers.
To be considered for these important roles you will a (RGN) registered Nurse within the designated area.
In addition you will meet the following:
* Previous experience with enteral nutrition
* Community based nursing experience would be an advantage
* Clinical experience nursing patients with cancer, stroke, GI problems would be an advantage
* Excellent communication skills and a team player
* Full driving licence with no more than 6 points

Salary from £22,000 to £24500 depending on experience
plus car, phone, lap top, private healthcare, pension scheme, bonus, 25 days holiday per year
