Are you looking to move away from irregular shift or night work? Do you want to work social hours within in a supportive and dynamic organisation? If you have answered YES to either of these questions then please read on!

PULSE is working alongside a well-established, international reproductive healthcare provider and is recruiting a Clinical Lead to join their flagship clinic in West London.

The clinic offers a variety of procedures and services that include: medical and surgical terminations, contraception/family planning clinics, pregnancy testing & advice, unplanned pregnancy consultations, vasectomy procedures, STI testing/treatment, scanning, cervical screening and sexual health advice/promotion.

As the Clinical Lead you will work in partnership with the Centre Manager but you will have responsibility, with the assistance of your Senior Nurse for the management and leadership of the nursing staff and clinical services that are delivered from the centre. The successful candidate will have strong leadership skills and a “hands on” approach to management.  In addition the Clinical Lead will have an understanding of working to targets whilst maintaining clinical excellence and encouraging a team orientated, professional, energetic and motivational workplace. It is imperative that everything that is undertaken at the clinic is done so to ensure patients continue to receive and are treated with the highest standard of courtesy and care.

The Clinical Lead will also be responsible for the management and quality control of the clinic. This would involve but not limited to:

Leadership & accountability of the clinical team

Recruitment & Retention of the clinical team

Assessing and identifying the training/education needs of the clinical staff

Responsible for internal and external audits, including liaison with the Care Quality Commission

Amend and implementation of new policies and procedures

Working with other Management colleagues within the organisation

It is essential that all applicants are pro-choice with regards to terminations and will be able to align easily with the values and missions of such a healthcare provider.

We would welcome applications from any specialty but it would be advantageous to be able to demonstrate experience with an acute surgical/Critical Care area. Previous Nursing management experience is essential.

If this sounds like the change you have been waiting for and you would like to develop your nursing management career within a specialised clinical specialty then please do not hesitate to contact us. Please call Jo on 020 7959 1019.
