Clinical Nurse Specialist - Central Scotland - £35,000 - £36,000 + 20% bonus achievable + benefits
Are you a specialist critical care nurse or renal nurse looking for a challenging new opportunity? Are you experienced in training and mentoring other nurses and also hold the Teaching and Assessing qualification? My client, a leading private healthcare provider is looking to recruit a Clinical Nurse Specialist to work in a mobile role covering central Scotland/parts of the the North East. If you are based in Edinburgh or Glasgow (or anywhere between) that would be ideal.
The role will involve compiling and delivering effective training/education/theoretical study days and clinically based teaching sessions. It will also involve promotional support to new and prospective users of the company's Acute Blood Therapies (ABT) equipment.
To apply for this role you must be an RGN, with current NMC PIN and hold qualifications in critical care and / or renal care as well as having extensive experience in one or both of these clinical areas. Candidates must also have experience in teaching within the clinical setting, both formal and informal and have a good knowledge of NHS policies and procedures.
The postholder will be working within ITU and therefore must maintain and develop their knowledge so that are able to educate and train medical and nursing staff and support internal colleagues. The job will involve liaising with the company's Business Managers on a regular basis to discuss territory and account activity. As the role is mobile candidates must hold a full UK driving licence.
In return for your hard work, our client offers an excellent base salary of between £35,000 - £36,000 depending on experience, with the opportunity of earning a bonus of 20% of salary if targets are hit.
