HCL Permanent is working in conjunction with a leading NHS trust based in London, to recruit experienced Senior Staff Nurses to work in their NICU department.

Internationally renowned for clinical excellence, this hospital provides an exciting challenge for enthusiastic NICU Senior Nurses looking to excel in their career. 

General Responsibilities:

  • Provide clinical advice and support within the NICU
  • Assist the Senior Team with continued development of the NICU
  • Contribute with other nursing colleagues to the strategic development and planning of nursing within the Neonatal Centre
  • Provide a high quality service of nursing care for children and their families
  • Communicate complex and sensitive matters with children and their families, providing support and understanding
  • Assess and deliver patient care for individual children
  • Plan discharges from admissions, liaising with the multidisciplinary team, other departments and community services as necessary

Requirements:

  • Eligible for NMC registration/registered (RN Adult / RN Child / RSCN)
  • Significant Grade 6 experience within the UK NICU setting
  • Relevant courses/training in NICU
  • Assessing and Mentoring qualification
  • APLS/EPLS Provider
