Boarding Matron – Lymington – £12500 + year round accommodation
Job Description for Boarding Matron:
Careerline Ltd is looking for a Matron for a wonderful Independent day and boarding school educating boys and girls from age 3 to 13. Term time: between 35 and 38 weeks per annum
Job Duties for School Matron:
· Work closely with the Senior Houseparent
· To promote the physical and mental health of all pupils
· Review and audit of care plans and risk assessments
· General First Aid care such as wound dressing and treatment of injury and care
The successful School Matron must have:
· Experience and knowledgeable of educational environment
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
· Clear empathy and understanding of boys’ development and needs
· A flexible approach to working hours
