Job Duties for Nursing Home Manager:
· Responsible for the smooth running of the home and the general well being of clients and staff members
· Supervision of staff, auditing of care plans and risk assessments
· Undertake pre admission assessments for new residents to the home
· Ensure that the home stays within its budget and that financial targets are met
· Play an integral role in supporting the service users to maximise their independence and achieve their own personal goals
The successful Nursing Home Manager must have:
· The ideal Home Manager candidate must hold a current nursing qualification.
· Previous Care Home Management experience with in an elderly care environment
· Proven care planning skills
· Must have a strong understanding of care service and delivery within a nursing home
· Possess RMA or LMC or be willing to work towards it
