SENIOR LECTURER - HEALTH VISITING
Permanent, full time
Grade G: £34,895 - £44,166 per annum
An exciting opportunity exists for a Senior Lecturer/experienced health visitor to join a dynamic education and practice team within the School of Nursing and Midwifery. The School is a large School that provides the full range of pre and post registration education for nurses, midwives and Health visitors, and works in close collaboration with a number of practice partners locally and regionally.
You will be responsible for leading the delivery and development of the Health visiting field of practice/route within the BSc (Hons) Specialist Community Public Health Nursing (SCPHN), and other related programmes across the School. You will teach on a range of SCPHN modules but with a particular focus upon the HV modules for the education and support of student Health Visitors.
You will also be expected to contribute to other undergraduate and post graduate teaching as appropriate.
You will be a graduate with current NMC registration on part 1 and part 3(HV), with evidence of continuing professional development and proven ability in clinical practice as a health visitor. An appropriate teaching qualification would be desirable, with a postgraduate degree or willingness to undertake study at this level.
