The Role:

My client is a growing provider of support in community settings for individuals with Learning and Physical Disabilities, Mental Health Needs and Acquired Brain Injuries (ABI).

We are currently looking for enthusiastic support workers to become part of a team in Wakefield/Doncaster, supporting adults with Acquired Brain Injuries to lead full and meaningful lives.
We are looking for people with a positive attitude and good values who are able to use their initiative and work as part of a team.

Our aim is to enable people to be fully participating citizens, making choices in their life and accessing their local community.

You will provide direct support to people encouraging and enabling the development of their life skills using professionally led programmes. Enabling people to grow in their skills following acquired Brain injury.

This may involve supporting people to find work, go to college, swimming, friendships, the use of assistive technology and I.T. as well as supporting people in their own homes with daily domestic chores.

We are looking for support workers who will provide direct care and support to people in their everyday lives. We can offer full time or part time contracts.
