Health care assistants with experience in hospital and nursing home settings are advised to apply. Shifts vary from day to night and weekend as well as public holiday shifts.
As a health care assistant, your duties will entail the following:
Using patient hoists and other mobility aids safely (and be trained)
Monitoring patients conditions by taking temperatures, pulse, respirations and weight (Using a Dina map machine)
Informing nursing staff when patient’s health condition changes
Assisting with medication
Transporting patients to other departments
Supporting the nursing staff
Recording patient information and informing nursing staff if a patient’s condition deteriorates
Minimum requirements:
Proven UK experience
Eligible right to live and work in the UK
